On Saturday, August 2, 2014, Independent Underground Radio LIVE (IURL) - A Michigan Based TOP Politico Podcast - had the pleasure of attending a symposium from Uprooting Racism/Planting Justice (URPJ) Organization. The following videos, exclusively provided by Independent Underground News & Talk (IUNT), explains in detail the roots of Detroit Water Shut Off Crisis covered on IURL Podcast Program.
The first video presents Detroit Revolutionary and National Activist Monica Lewis Patrick, as she discuss what the organization "The Detroit People's Water Board" is working on the ground to alleviate residents facing a shut off of water resources.
Next, our second video features a Detroit Resident known as the "Detroit Communicator". As a former resident of the suburban community in Southeastern Michigan, the Communicator moved his family to Michigan's Largest City in the past six years. The Communicator in the video, discuss how the suburbs Caucasian populace must be willing to recognize what American based Austerity practices are doing to residents in Detroit.
