TYT Detroit Sigi recently came in first over 50 local Young Turks
Groups for creativity and representing the Southeastern Michigan community.
According to the event organizers, all progressive candidates are welcome, with a focus on candidates seeking public office from Livingston and Washtenaw counties.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the famous Pizza House, 618 Church Street in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
"It's always great to meet our candidates, and especially to engage them in a discussion about the issues most important to us," TYT Detroit Coordinator Nanci Frazier stated.

Wolf PAC-Michigan is a 50-State political action committee to call for an Article 5 Convention of the States. The Convention would specifically call for a 28th Amendment added to the US Constitution to remove the influence of money in our political system.
A petition sponsored by Wolf PAC available on the group website cites over 95,000 signatories supporting, "A Constitutional amendment saying that corporations are not people and they do not have the right to spend money to buy our politicians."
