Florida was the first state to implement this legislation and SYG laws have been heavily discussed in nationwide news cycles since George Zimmerman took the life of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012. A six person woman dominated jury in Sanford, FL acquitted Zimmerman of second degree murder and manslaughter charges due in part to Florida's SYG legislation.

Additionally, Atty. Graves will provide unique insight on if Trayvon Martin's family sue for civil tort punitive damages since American Legislative Exchange Council widely known as ALEC sponsored SYG laws, normally exempts former defendants found not-guilty on state based SYG policies from civil lawsuits.

This is a must tune into interview to learn about ALEC 'fill in the blanks' legislative statutory SYG bills. Learn about what actions should be taken in upcoming months ahead to rid our nation of this dangerous law.

Furthermore, on the show we'll discuss:

-Detroit is Bankrupt or so the nation thought, after Michigan's Governor Rick Snyder and Emergency Manager Kevin Orr's bold declaration of the World's Auto Capital Fiscal state. Now, questions exist on if Governor Snyder could be in violation of Michigan Constitution his called to engage in Chapter 9 municipal bankruptcy proceedings, effecting ending City of Detroit retirees, pensions. We'll provide analysis on this latest development.

-Should Washington, D.C. bailout the City that motorized America, Detroit, Michigan? New York Times Economist Steven Rattner sure thinks the U.S. Government should "save Detroit".

" No one likes bailouts or the prospect of rewarding Detroit’s historic fiscal mismanagement. But apart from voting in elections, the 700,000 remaining residents of the Motor City are no more responsible for Detroit’s problems than were the victims of Hurricane Sandy for theirs, and eventually Congress decided to help them," Rattner wrote in a July 20th article.
Does Detroit deserves a bailout? We'll tackle this issue on Tuesday's podcast.

-On the local front, Ann Arbor.com wrote a piece about the emergence of a Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Black Chamber of Commerce Chapter in this Southeastern Michigan community, and some replies in the articles comment section were downright appalling.

During IU Radio LIVE "Raw and to the Point" segment, host Monica RW - a upcoming December 2013 Masters of Business Administration degree recipient, Executive Board Secretary of Michigan's Democratic Business Council and member of Michigan's Black Chamber of Commerce will educate the commentators on the logical purpose behind business networking, on a ethnic basis.
