Barrow, who successfully sued for Detroit's Charter Candidate Residency Requirements to apply for Mike Duggan's quest to be the City's next mayor, will visit Independent Underground Radio LIVE to discuss Duggan Wednesday, June 14, 2013 announcement to further appeal his case to the Michigan Appeals Court.

Duggan, a former Wayne County Prosecutor from 2001-2003 was a resident in Livonia, Michigan until April 15, 2012, before moving to Detroit with the sole intent of running for Mayor. As a former Mayoral candidate, Duggan relocated in Michigan's largest city of Detroit on April 16, 2012 and subsequently filed his petitions for candidacy on April 2, 2013. According to clear language contained in section 3-111 of Detroit's City Charter potential candidates seeking an elected office position must have (1) year or 365 days of established residency.

Detroit's Elections Charter Commission in a 2 to 1 decision ruled Thursday, May 23, 2013, ruled Duggan could remain Duggan could remain on the ballot despite language contained in Detroit's Charter. On Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in a stunning rebuke of the Commissions' decision Wayne County Third Circuit Court Judge Pro-Tem Lita Masini Popke ruled Duggan must be removed from the ballot due for failure to fulfill the requirement to be a registered voter for a year at the time of filing his candidacy on April 2, 2013 two weeks before his one year anniversary.

Mayoral Candidate Barrow exclusively on Independent Underground Radio LIVE will detail next steps of his fight for Detroit residents rights for Charter Statutory Language to be respected, along with sharing details of upcoming events for the Barrow for Mayor Campaign.
