Former Republican vice presidential candidate and half-term/resigned Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (R) will be a speaker Saturday, July 14, 2012 at a Willow Run Tea Party Event to be held at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Belleville, Michigan.
The Ex-Governor will make her appearance between Noon and 6PM EDT.
Sponsors promoting Palin, as she denotes lines of rhetoric normally reserved for the Fox Cable Channel, include the Koch Brothers backed "Americans for Prosperity-Michigan" group.
“Governor Palin is going to help us inspire and energize grass roots activists as we work to defend our economic freedom during this crucial moment in our nation’s history. ‘Patriots in the Park’ will demonstrate there exists a real and powerful grassroots movement focused on turning the tide in big government,” according to a statement on Ann Arbor.com from Michigan Director of Americans for Prosperity Scott Hagerstrom.Dubbed as "Patriots in the Park" other speakers include Troy, Michigan mayor Janice Daniels -who is probably facing a local recall election- Union Conservatives founder Terry Bowman, Sen. Patrick Colbeck (R-Canton), and hosts of other voices from the far-right wings of Republican associated Tea-Party groups.
The event is free and open to the public but, donations will be collected for "The Fallen and Wounded Solider Fund" according to Ann Arbor.com, along with tables for event sales are available for $100.00, noted on the Willow Run Tea Party website.
