A Great Day for Gay Rights

Finally a president that realizes that marriage is a civil right not a privilege.  The pledge of allegiance says "liberty and justice for all" and the constitution says "No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."  Marriage has always been and always will be a civil the government that has given marriage certain rights, privileges and benefits, not churches and religion, and those things should be given to all couples.  Blacks, women, gays...what is the difference we are all people... we are all Americans...we deserve equal treatment and equal rights. My relationship does not impinge on your rights and you should not impinge on mine!
