D. Alexander Bullock to Speak at Detroit May Day Protest

(DETROIT) – Today, D. Alexander Bullock will stand with members of Occupy Detroit and other local activist groups in celebration of May Day.

“Today, not only in Detroit, but around the world we are uniting the 99 percent to fight the 1 percent. We are making our voices heard loud and clear with the gathering of students, labor, immigrants and other community members that make up the 99 percent. Around the world we all want the same things: banksters that are not gangsters, debt free degrees, the right to collective bargaining, more jobs, a democracy that is not attacked and a liberty that is not lynched,” said D. Alexander Bullock.

D. Alexander Bullock will speak during today’s May Day protest at 2 p.m. at the abandoned Michigan Central Train Depot located at 2001 15th Street, Detroit, Mich., 48216.
