Rainbow PUSH Michigan to Announce Crusade for America Youth and Parent March

Media Advisory

(DETROIT) –  STAND UP AGAIN! DREAM AGAIN! STOP THE VIOLENCE! SAVE OUR YOUTH! D. Alexander Bullock, Rainbow PUSH Michigan, Mason Radio, Jobs with Justice Southeast Michigan, PaleoRadio and Impact Radio Network will hold a press conference to announce the Crusade for America parent and youth march that will take place Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012.

“The Crusade for America parent and youth march is a clarion call to people all over the nation to save our children. At our current rate we are on track for over 500 murders in Michigan in 2012 alone. There were 49 murders in one weekend in Chicago a few weeks ago – we must stop this culture of violence. This march will bring together inner city and suburban youth in an effort to re-energize the base and take a stand for protecting our families, reviving the national ban on assault weapons and opening public spaces for youth empowerment,” said D. Alexander Bullock.
