On March 7th, Michigan U.S. Senator Carl Levin (D-Michigan) Chairman of the Armed Services Committee called for "The Rush Limbaugh Show" and Pentagon officials with Armed Forces Network to consider removing Limbaugh's program off its' programming schedule, after the Conservative pundit’s on-air comments regarding Ms. Fluke.
“I would hope the people that run it (Armed Forces Network) see just how offensive this is," Levin, a Democrat, told CNN on March 7th.
Speaking about losing 50 sponsors so far, Limbaugh stated, That's “out of 18,000. That’s like losing a couple of french fries in the container when it’s delivered to you in the drive thru. You don’t even notice it.”
