Momentum gearing up against Michigan State Senator Phil Pavlov, for a local recall effort

Phil Pavlov has dismissed the recall against him as being the work of a fringe element, and  claims to be unconcerned. However, it's clear the people are moving against this bully, recognizing that he's chosen corporate interests over the interests of their families and neighbors.

People who have stood with Pavlov before are now seeking his dismissal. How can they stand with him? Did Pavlov stand with homeowners when he helped slash the Homestead Tax Credit? Did Pavlov stand with seniors when he voted to tax their pensions? Did Pavlov stand with working families when he voted to slash the earned income tax credit? Was Pavlov standing with the community when he gutted public education?

Mr. Pavlov, who has been curiously absent since the recall began, can continue to dismiss it, offering up pointless gestures, but the families he's hurt won't allow his contemptuous and out-of-touch policies to go unchecked. Recalling Pavlov is important. It sends a message to Lansing and to Pavlov's cronies that the citizens of Michigan want leaders who represent them and not the rich corporations flooding Lansing with money. St. Clair and Lapeer counties deserve better.
