This is as hard for me to write. Reflecting back to the day when I was sitting in my living room, in shock and disbelief that Michael Jackson died.

Today, ironically around 8:45 PM EST, I was waiting at the McDonald's waiting for my order. In long line, allowed enough time to take a peep at my phone to review Facebook. Then the feeling felt on June 25, 2009, came over me again.

Whitney Houston has tragically died at the young age of 48 (1963-2012). Many will have thoughts about the past years of her life but I remember the memories listening in a car to "Saving All My Love for You", "I Will Always Love You", "I Want to Dance with Somebody", "We Do Broken Hearts Go", "Didn't We Always Have It All" and the famous movie The Bodyguard Ballad "Run to You".

But one of the most memorable performances of Whitney Houston's career was her performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" before Super Bowl XXV on Jan. 27, 1991 in Tampa. Whitney was one of the best signers in the World and as a teen in the 1980's, young adult in the 1990's and maturing years later....I will truly miss Whitney Houston.

Rest in Peace Whitney. We Will Always Love You!
