US Border Patrol holds the first of a two day job fair on October 3

The United States Customs and Border Protection Department is hosting the first of its' two-day job fair on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Tower Center Marketplace, 15400 Grand River, in Detroit, Michigan from Noon to 6 PM. 

Thursday, November 10, 2011, a second employment fair will be held at the same location from Noon to 6PM.

Applicants should be ready for on-the-spot interviews for US Border Patrol Agents & Customs Protection Officers and can find out more about the duties of the position, at this link.


Employment requirements include US citizenship, applicants must be between ages of 18-40, High School Diploma or GED is required, have a valid driver license,
 no felony convictions or domestic violence convictions. 


Applicants who have other convictions, e.g. traffic or misdemeanor can apply to be considered for these positions.
