Reach Out Job Search Radio adds Autumn Smith-Michigan political activist, as weekly co-host

Reach Out Job Search Radio, a featured podcast on the Blog Talk Radio Network, will be adding Michigan politics, community organizer and LGBT Activist Autumn Smith of Battle Creek as a Co-Host to the program.

Ms. Smith first step into grassroots community organizing actions was in July of 2010, as a victim of the Enbridge Oil Spill. During this incident, impacting her local community, Autumn lead efforts to speak out & protest against Enbridge Energy Partners LLP and its' C.E.O.

From there Autumn stepped into the political arena, attending many events, protests & rallies that spoke out against Michigan's Gov. Rick Snyder Administration and various pieces of legislation passed in Michigan Capitol during 2011.

Described as a "one-woman campaign" to Recall Michigan's Speaker of the House, Jase Bolger (R), Ms. Smith the sole plaintiff, representing herself through various legal challenges for clarity recall langauge approval against state Speaker Bolger, who was represented by one of the most powerful law firms in the state. She was able to claim victory after defeating Bolger's legal challenges and winning court cases which tried to prevent her Constitutional rights to redress state recall procedures.

Autumn is currently studying argumentation, advocacy and political science. Additionally volunteers her time to various community organizations in the Calhoun County area.
