Uof M Detroit Center Hosts Town Hall Meeting with Rep. Hansen Clarke

The University of Michigan Detroit Center will host a Town Hall Meeting with U.S. Congressman Hansen Clarke on Tuesday, September 27th at U of M Detroit Center, 3663 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. Congressman Clarke will first address questions posed by six University of Michigan and Detroit Public School students, before answering issues posed by the audience. 

The forum will be moderated by WDET’s Craig Fahle. Open to the general public, the Town Hall Meeting will take place from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, with a reception following the program.

The Town Hall with Congressman Clarke is the inaugural event of the U-M Detroit Center’s Hot Topics series, “Detroit in Prime Time”.  Hot Topics provides a forum for the insightful discussion of the image of the City through the lens of mass media. Audience members are invited to participate in the question and answer period following panel presentations. The event is free and open to the public.
