Comcast two-day employment fair, plans to bring 200 jobs into Southeastern Michigan

Comcast plans on bringing up to 200 jobs to the company’s’ Southeastern Michigan locations in Ann Arbor (Scio Township), Plymouth and Macomb County.

The company is hosting a job fair from 11 AM to 7 PM on Friday, September 30th and Friday, October 7th at their Southeastern Michigan headquarters at 41112 Concept Drive in Plymouth.

On-site interviews will be during the event conducted with qualified job-seekers, who first, submit an online application at the company’s careers website, prior to attendance.

Comcast looking to fill employment openings, during the fair, in areas of technical support, call center representative, supervisors/managers, sales, equipment installers and financial analysts.

A large portion of Comcast’s technical support jobs and some of call center positions will be based at the company's facility at 5775 Interface Dr. in Scio Township. Comcast currently employs nearly 4000 people in the state of Michigan.

Minimum educational requirements for call center positions and installation jobs require either a high school degree or GED. For technical support specialist jobs, Comcast requires applicants to have at least with two to three years of similar experience. 

Direct sales and call center supervisors’ jobs positions require the minimum of a bachelor’s degree with two to three years of sales and/or management experience. Financial analyst applicants must a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with at least three years of experience.
