Domino's fall in Murdoch News Corp. Scandal as former NOTW editor Rebekah Brooks is arrested in England

Editor Rebekah Brooks has been arrested
in growing News Corporation Scandal.
Rebekah Brooks has been arrested by officers investigating allegations of corruption and phone hacking, according to Sky sources.

The news resource is reporting Brooks went to a London police station and is being held on suspicion of conspiring to intercept communications and corruption allegations.

Operation Weeting has been launched by Scotland Yard to investigate claims that newspaper journalists hacked into the phones of high-profile figures and even victims of crime.  Brooks resigned as chief executive of News International (NI) on Friday and makes the tenth person arrested in the NOTW scandal.

She was editor of now closed News Of The World (NOTW), when a missing English schoolgirl Milly Dowler's phone was hacked and messages were deleted. Sadly, teenager was later found murdered.

She is due to appear alongside News Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch, who on U.S. conservative news channel Fox News) and his son James, before the British Government sub-committee on Tuesday, July 19. It is unknown, unless Brooks is released on bond that she would be able to appear at the hearing.
