Unemployment with health aliments diabetes, obesity, depression; free or low treatments available

Low cost and free health
clinics exist to provide
treatments for unemployed
individuals for diabetes,
obesity and depression.

For individuals experiencing unemployment, the onset of health related issues like diabetes, obesity, and depression can frequency occur.

Medical studies have highlighted that obesity issue, brought on by depression from one being unemployed primary factor to developing diabetes. Acquiring foods containing high fats, sugar or sodium contents available at the grocery store are usually the cheapest food options when jobless individuals are saving money on nutritional items.

Economic recession factors cause unemployed to delay live saving treatments

The economic recession that started in early has caused a sharp spike in unemployment. It is estimated that 25-30 million Americans are either jobless or underemployed.

A January 30th ComRes poll, commissioned by BMI Healthcare,  found just over 40 percent of women felt they had less money over the last two years, which had impacted on their diets. Another, 48 percent of survey respondents stated that their health had deteriorated in the last two years due the recession.

"Stress, sleeplessness and poor diets can have a significant impact on our wellbeing, but more importantly they can be a contributing factor to more serious health issues, such as heart disease and weight gain leading to obesity”, Dr. Hilary Jones stated to the Press Association.

While unemployment can impact obesity, it also clearly limits weekly to monthly household income level. Worries about paying monthly expenses obligations raises depression level and reduce funds available for medical prescription treatments with existing diabetes cases among the jobless.

Free and/or Low Cost Treatment Options are available for job seekers to control depression, diabetes and obesity

Tuning to low or free cost treatments options during job loss can lessen chances of the initiation of diabetes or, to control the condition.

Taking the time to nutrition food labels during grocery purchases can give key information food content and ingredients. Low-cost or free medical treatments could assist with depression systems or root causes. Staying physically fit by taking walks around your community and socializing beyond the confines a residential setting, can help keep connected with others, while seeking work.
