Cutting Jobs and Taking Names from the Government

The government does not seem to mind when they cut more names of the list for jobs. They have unemployed more than 95,000 people. They want to save as much money as possible, and this includes keeping employees on the payroll. They do not seem to have one concern over laying off over 70,000 people, as long as their jobs are still stable and intact. This is something that is steadily climbing as we continue on through the year. Is it ever going to end?
There have been fewer reported losses as we continue ahead, but the numbers from around the world stay at over 200,000. Even if we keep 20 jobs more than the previous week, who is to say that the 20 that are there one month are going to be there the next. It all depends on how the company is doing, and what the company can do for their employees as far as how much they cost, and what they can put out to them. A lot of employees would rather take a pay cut then be laid off. Work is difficult to find, and knowing that you’re laid of means that you’re going to have to find a job at some point. This is probably not going to happen for awhile since job placements are at their all time low.
Unemployment benefits are starting to rise, and as we all know, those benefits can and will run out eventually. This can be a problem. You want to keep the benefits for as long as you can while also being able to look for new jobs along the way. There is no right or wrong job, just a job where you can make steady income. This is something that is definitely hard to find, and you will end up taking a pay cut or being over qualified depending on what your previous job was. Take a deep breath and relax. You will get there someday. Worry about the now, and take the later as it comes.
