belong, in Michigan's 15th
Congressional Race

Sarah Palin via her Facebook page decided on October 26, to place thoughts into Southeastern Michigan politics, with the ex-governors endorsement of Republican Rob Steele in his quest to unseat U.S. Representative John Dingell (D-Dearborn) in Michigan's 15th Congressional District race.
Congressman Dingell, who has served the district for a number of years, is well on his way to be elected for another two-year term, with a 20 point lead, to date, over this opponent.
Steele's Campaign Manager Welcomed Palin's Endorsement of "Taking the Country Back"
Mike Marzano, Steele's campaign manager, said the former Alaska governor's support comes as an unexpected surprise, as reported in the Ann Arbor News. In fact, the campaign found out via Facebook.
In Ms. Palin’s endorsement, she noted that “comment sense” conservatives need to be elected to “take the country back”. From whom the country need to be taken back from, is not defined on Palin’s post.
“With just eight days left before Election Day, it’s time to sprint through the finish line. Here are more commonsense conservative candidates who are determined to get our country back on track,” Palin wrote.
On the “endorsement” of Challenger Rob Steele, Palin scripted the following
“Dr. Rob Steele is challenging the longest-serving member of the House, and he needs your help. Dr. Steele is right on the issues – he’s committed to reduced spending, lower taxes, and commonsense Constitutional principles;  and he’s right for Michigan – an NRA-member and avid sportsman, father, and community leader. After 55 years, it’s time for new leadership for Michigan. Please visit Dr. Steele’s website at www.robsteeleforcongress.com and follow him on Facebook and Twitter.”
In addition to Steele, she also endorsed within the post, Dick Muri for Washington’s 9th Congressional District, Ilario Pantano for North Carolina’s 7th Congressional District, and Chuck Wilkerson for California’s 30th Congressional District.
Palin's Endorsement Comes Without Visiting the 15th Congressional District Area; Dingell's Campaign Quickly Responds
It is unknown if Palin has ever visit-in-person, the areas of the other candidates she "endorsed" via Facebook. As for Southeastern Michigan, neither in her failed quest for the Vice-President spot on the McCain/Palin ticket, afterward with the "Tea Party Express" or speaking events events; the ex-governor has not made an "in-person" visit within the majority moderate-to-liberal based areas of Congressman Dingell's 15th Congressional district, prior to her support of candidate Steele.
Congressman Dingell’s campaign quickly responded to the Palin “endorsement” of Steele by issuing out a statement calling her “the darling of the right-wing.”
"Palin, the notorious running-mate of Republican Presidential candidate John McCain, opposes the successful investment by the federal government into the auto industry, which saved millions of American jobs and hundreds of thousands in Michigan alone," Dingell's campaign said.
"Palin opposes the investments the government is making in American workers and the jobs that these investments are saving and creating. We already know Rob Steele supports tax cuts for companies that send jobs to China and India, so this latest endorsement from Sarah Palin comes as no surprise — both Steele and Palin are foes of Michigan’s working families."
Congressman Dingell Lines Up Endorsements from Former President Bill Clinton and Six Area Newspaper Resources
Former President Bill Clinton, endorsed Congressman Dingell at the Ann Arbor University of Michigan campus on Sunday, October 24. Earlier in the day, Clinton visited Reniassance High School in Detroit, to announce his support of Lansing Mayor and Michigan Gubernatorial candidate, Virg Bernero (D).
On October 26, Representative Dingell's campaign announced via their webpage, that he received the endorsements of six major newspaper resourceswithin the 15th Congressional district, including the Dearborn News-Herald, the Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, Toledo Blade, Monroe Evening News, and Ann Arbor.com.
