Earn $150 on November 2 as a Election Poll Worker for the City of Detroit

Poll Workers for Election
Day, November 2

With election day, less than two weeks away, the City of Detroit is seeking Election Poll Workers for November 2 general election

The Detroit Department of Elections announced on an article WWJ Newsradio 750 that they are currently recruiting qualified candidates.

The payment for Poll Workers will be up to $150 per Election Day based on classification and assignment. Candidates are required to be city of Detroit residents age 16 and over. In addition, all applicants must be U.S. citizens and proficient in basic math and English.

To complete the application process, interested candidates can either go to the Detroit Department of Elections at 2978 West Grand Boulevard (between Second and Third Avenues) or fill out the sign up form online.

Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Mandatory training is required for all newly hired poll workers.
